These Terms of Use govern your use of Repose, a desktop reader and library app for ebooks, developed by Low Tide Studio. By downloading or using Repose, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.
Repose is a personal reading application that lets you import, organise and read your own ebooks, PDFs and comics on your desktop. It is provided as-is, with no warranties of uninterrupted or error-free operation. Features may change between versions.
Low Tide Studio grants you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use Repose on your devices for personal, non-commercial purposes. You may not copy, modify, distribute, reverse engineer, or sublicense the app or sell access to it.
You retain full ownership of any content you import into Repose - your books, highlights, notes, and reading data are yours. You are responsible for ensuring that any content you import does not infringe the rights of others.
Use Repose only for lawful purposes and in a way that does not infringe the rights of others. You may not use Repose to store or distribute content that is illegal, harmful, or infringing.
Repose is free to use for 30 days, with every feature. After that, opening a book needs a one-time purchase, made through the Microsoft Store, which takes the payment under its own terms of sale. There's no subscription, and every future version is included. Your library, highlights, notes and settings stay yours whether or not you buy. Refunds are covered by our Refund Policy.
Repose is provided “as is” without warranty of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Low Tide Studio is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of or inability to use the app.
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa. Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of Repose shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the South African courts. Nothing in these terms limits your rights under consumer protection law. We may update these terms from time to time - continued use after changes constitutes acceptance. Questions?
